SASB Standards XBRL Taxonomy Review Committee (TRC)

Overview

The SASB Standards XBRL Taxonomy Review Committee (TRC) was formed as a standing committee of volunteer industry experts from leading public companies, software providers, data aggregators, audit professionals, regulators, and/or other interested parties. These individuals reviewed, provided guidance, and helped to govern the ongoing maintenance of the SASB Standards Taxonomy.

As of August 1, 2022, the Value Reporting Foundation consolidated into the IFRS Foundation to help establish the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB). As part of the consolidation, the TRC was retired. The members of TRC were encouraged to join the IFRS Taxonomy Consultative Group. A call for members to the IFRS Taxonomy Consultative Group was made on April 24th, 2023.
